With a sound based in clarity and simplicity, Glassreel began as a partnership between longtime musical collaborators Kelly Beaton and Trevor Graumann. The songs on Glassreel's debut EP Unalike are marked by tight melodies, thoughtfully crafted arrangements and attention to sonic detail. The band’s music has been compared to artists such as The New Pornographers, Belle and Sebastian, and Mazzy Star.

Whether he is painting large scale murals on the sides of buildings , speed painting beside a live orchestra , leading dance workshops or performing spoken word poetry, Nereo looks for the interconnectedness in all things. You may recognize Jess Rae from the Western Canadian Music Award Winning roots band Sweet Alibi. When Jess isn’t hitting the hard road with Sweet Alibi, she performs with her solo project. Jess finds a way to flawlessly blend a contemplative roots sound with elements of upbeat pop, letting her soulful expressive voice and honest songwriting do most of the heavy lifting. Jess’ voice is often compared to the likes of Adele, Norah Jones and Amy Winehouse. Jess takes everything life gives her, and puts it into her songs. Jess is currently developing songs for a debut Album, set to be released spring of 2021.

Ila Barker - With soul and voice well beyond her years, folk artist Ila Barker captures audiences with her sweet melodies and dynamic presence. Ila is of mixed ojibwe and settler heritage with roots running deep in the prairies, bringing tones of rich history and texture to her craft. Fusing authentic and timeless notes this singer songwriter will surely connect and leave a lasting impression. Ila has brought her craft to an array festivals and stages including the Regina Folk Festival, the Winnipeg Folk Festival and the sākihiwē festival. In the summer of 2019 Ila opened for Jeremy Dutcher at the Indian River Festival. In February 2020 Ila released the “Let Go” single, a collaboration with UK based artist Milan André that was recorded off the floor in one take in the northern Cree Nation of Nemaska, Quebec. Emily Solstice - Emily Solstice Tait is of mixed settler and Ojibway heritage (Berens River First Nation), living in Treaty 1 Territory, Winnipeg, Manitoba. She is a 2019 graduate of the Professional Program at the School of Contemporary Dancers and a current Indigenous Arts Leadership Fellow with Theatre Projects Manitoba through the Winnipeg Arts Council. Her practice is rooted in dance but crosses into theatre, devising, choreography, and stage management.

Performed by two actor/storytellers and armfuls of adorable puppets, Wild Wild Wilderness demonstrates the connections between habitat, wildlife, and human activity.
Wild Wild Wilderness tells the story of one kid's accidental effect on a nearby forest and its creatures. We get to know about the animals, their habitat and how they spend their time, as they try to solve the mystery of ‘the golden shiny thing’ - while narrowly escaping the dangers this human-made object presents. But animals (and trees) are smart, and they teach the child a few valuable lessons.

Character Creation: Learn the basics in creating characters from scratch to use in your comics storytelling.

GMB Chomichuk is an award-winning writer and illustrator whose work has appeared in film, television, theatre, books, comics and graphic novels. His work ranges from the heart warming to the blood curdling with graphic novel like Cassie and Tonk, Midnight City, Will I See? and the forthcoming Automatic Age, Arena City, and Good Boys. He is the host of Super Pulp Science a podcast about how genre gets made. His newest full length graphic novel Apocrypha: The Legend of Babymetal was featured on The Hollywood Reporter, The Nerdist and Billboard Magazine.

Gabriela Ocejo Duo (Super Duty Tough Work) showcases her love for R&B, jazz, pop, Neo soul, with earnest lyrics that will amaze you and your friends!
You may recognize Gabriela Ocejo from Polaris Prize-nominated 8-piece live hip-hop ensemble Super Duty Tough Work. Gabi's duo with Ashley Au showcases her skill as a songwriter, bending her love for R&B, jazz, pop and Neo soul, with lyrics that earnestly examine the joy, pain and neurosis of contemporary city living.
Gabriela Ocejo is an Argentine-born, Treaty 1-based guitarist and songwriter. Raised in a musical family, Gabi’s father, guitarist Guillermo Ocejo was a major influence to her love of music and artistry, introducing her to Jazz, Tango and Argentinean Folklore. Gabi continued honing her craft playing with her talented hometown musician friends in Buenos Aires and Bahia Blanca, as she bounced back and forth between the continents.
Decidedly relocating to Winnipeg in 2011, Gabi became immersed in the local arts and cultural community. Her range in style, gift in songwriting and tasteful arrangements quickly made Gabi a mainstay of Winnipeg music scene, effortlessly collaborating with some of the city’s best musicians across a range of styles including all-female Jazz Manouche band, Juvel; 7-piece traditional swing band, Sunny Roseland; folk-roots songwriter and Crooked Brother, Matt Foster; and Polaris Prize-nominated 8-piece live hip-hop ensemble, Super Duty Tough Work.
Recently, Gabi has started her own project, showcasing her skill as a songwriter and arranger.
